AASB Virtual Research Forum
The Australian Accounting Standards Board (AASB) in conjunction with the University of New South Wales (UNSW), will be co-hosting the 2020 AASB Virtual Research Forum, where academics and financial reporting stakeholders from the for-profit and not-for-profit sectors will come together to discuss the following three research projects:
1. Opening Remarks, Keynote Speaker, & Research Topic 1: The Use and Usefulness of Equity Accounting (9.00 am - 11.30 am)

3. Closing Remarks, Keynote Speaker 2, & Research Topic 3: Are Accounting Standards Understandable? (2.15 pm - 4.45 pm)

The 2020 AASB Virtual Research Forum will also include expert panel discussions, live audience Q&As, as well as special guest speaker Ann Tarca, from the International Accounting Standards Board (IASB), who will present an update about the IASB’s project pipeline.
