ATO webinar on draft guidance on section 99B

The ATO’s recently published public advice and guidance (PAG) on section 99B of the Income Tax Assessment Act 1936 is open for public consultation until Wednesday 28 August 2024.

They’ve received feedback that associations and advisers are wanting to hear more from them in relation to the draft PAG. In response to this, they’re hosting a webinar at 12pm to 1pm (AEST) on Thursday 22 August 2024.

The webinar will provide an overview of the draft Practical Compliance Guideline (PCG 2024/D1) and the draft Taxation Determination (TD 2024/D2). It will also provide further information about common feedback/questions being raised as part of the consultation period so far.
